Atlantis Resort Public Profile

Background

Buddy Media was tasked with creating a Facebook Public Profile that would house a variety of interactive content designed to encourage users to share their affinity for the Atlantis vacation experience and expose potential future customers to the world of entertainment possibilities that Atlantis has to offer couples, groups and families.

Solution

The Buddy Media development team leveraged the robust capabilities of the Buddy Media Social Page Management System to create a dynamic, interactive experience for fans of the Atlantis brand on the Facebook social network. Once the user interface was optimized for intuitive navigation, the design template was implemented on a custom Public Profile Tab for each Atlantis property (Paradise Island and The Palm).

A variety of social modules were added to each property page to give Atlantis brand advocates the opportunity to spread the brand’s benefits/messages about the resorts to their Facebook friends. Images relevant to the numerous activities available to resort guests were aggregated into a virtual gift library, providing users with an outlet to share their affinity for the brand with friends. A ‘hand-raiser’ module let users inform their friends about their upcoming vacation to an Atlantis resort. Each module included Facebook Publisher capabilities, so users could post content to their profiles or a friend’s Wall – with stories about the activity posted to the Facebook Newsfeed. A graphic promotional banner with links that drove users deep into the Atlantis website was included at the bottom of the interface and prominent ‘buttons’ gave users direct access to the brand’s presence on Twitter, MySpace, and YouTube.
